| I discovered these photographs at my Aunt Leta's home on
Christmas Day 2001. They were in a "Family Tree" Lithograph that was printed in 1873. I had remembered it hanging on a wall in my Grandmother Lewis' bedroom when I was a kid. I mentioned it at our family get together Christmas Day and my Aunt said it was hanging in her basement. There were a total of ten photos in oval cut-outs of the lithograph. Two were easily recognizable - portraits of William Lewis and his wife Abigail. Another was of my grandfather, Fred Lewis, as a young man. I took the framed litho to my parent's home, and carefully removed the tintypes and photos. What were the odds of there being any identification on the back of any of the others?
